God’s patience isn’t passive—it’s fierce, intentional mercy holding back judgment so that hearts might turn. “Not wishing that any should perish” isn’t a soft sentiment; it’s the burning heart of a Father who watches prodigals destroy themselves while still leaving the door wide open. This verse confronts our arrogance—how often do we mistake God’s delay for disinterest, His silence for absence? In truth, every breath we take outside of judgment is an opportunity soaked in grace. Repentance isn’t just for the obviously broken—it’s for every soul too proud to admit they need saving. This hits especially hard when we realize we’ve grown numb. We go through the motions, quote the verses, but harbor private sins, bitterness, and self-righteousness like trophies. And still—He waits. He doesn't want to lose us. 2 Peter 3:9 reminds us that God’s restraint is not weakness; it's holy defiance against the death we deserve. So the question isn't “Where is God?” but “What am I doing with the time He’s given me?” Repentance isn’t a one-time moment—it’s the daily courage to turn toward the God who still believes we’re worth redeeming.

This reading plan is so doable! And so good! Finishing up Mark today and hearing anew Jesus’s commission to us. Helping Lord, empower us even as you did Your disciples.
I love this application. Eyes open, ready to show grace. This means we have to predetermine our attitude toward someone struggling. So we must have spent time in the scriptures and the presence of Jesus, receiving His grace, to be able to pour it out to others.

Such an excellent reminder of what a gift repentance is! Turn to God while there is time and draw deeply from the wells of salvation. I know I need saving everyday. I thank God He is there for me to turn to.
“I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Wow! Ecclesiastes 7:9
“Anger may knock but Grace answers the door” that’s powerful. Jesus, help me to keep my heart as a beautiful, clean comfortable home for You. Not crowded with anger and bitterness. Don’t let the ugliness of the god of this world rub off on me, but let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume that ugliness and cause it to lose all power over me. Help me to truly overcome evil with Your goodness.
I honor and exalt YOU JESUS. YOU AND YOU ALONE ARE WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!
“When you’re covered by the blood of Jesus, fear loses its grip and guilt loses its voice.“
And the accuser? That’s all he’s got, those are his only weapons. We must tune out the lies and open our eyes and ears to God’s Word!
Excellent exhortation! Clear, brief and to the point. Something more believers need to do on media for greater public engagement. Everybody has a short attention span, including me. "Just say it! "
Amen! Today is the day of salvation. Respond! Look up!
Lead on oh King eternal. Lift me out of the miry clay and set my feet in the solid Rock to stay. You only can do this. You only are God Almighty. For Your Name’s sake extend Your mighty right arm to save me.
This is so powerful and so needed in my life. Thank you for reminding me to stop and ask Holy Spirit to filter my speech. I only want what He want to get through. Stifle the rest.
Thank You Jesus for Your mercy and Your grace, Faith by which I stand. I am a sinner, but oh You save me by Your grace. Lord, restore unto me a right spirit within me and restore or establish relationships aright in my life. You alone are the God who cares and who can accomplish this.
That’s so good! We already have everything that matters. I cast off comparison. It is so damaging. I walk in the fear of the Lord. The Lord of Heavenly Hosts. Surely there is a future and my hope is not cut off. You alone, God, know the end from the beginning. You’ve already defeated Satan. The shedding of Your precious blood was all part of the plan! Your death was part of the plan that he didn’t see coming. You rose from the dead!!! It’s Your blood that sets me free. I trust You Jesus, for my breakthrough.
